Dan Withers received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and his Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree from Memphis. For the last 15 years, Mr. Withers has limited his law practice exclusively to Real Estate — its acquisition, use, finance and disposition. Mr. Withers was a County Planning Commission Attorney for three years. His commercials clients have included very well known, nationally recognized restaurants, a nation-wide grocery store chain, and the largest private commercial real estate developer on the east coast. Mr. Withers has evaluated and directed over 600 Million Dollars worth of real estate development projects. He has been corporate legal counsel to the local Board of Realtors, Habitat for Humanity, and several other Associations. In Tennessee, Mr. Withers was part of a 6-person team which drafted a state-wide real estate sales contract.
But his focus remains on residential transactions. He started his real estate career as a real estate agent, then a mortgage company owner, then a title company owner, and finally, a title attorney. With this broad background, Mr. Withers is uniquely qualified among title attorneys to comprehend and complete even the most complex or unusual residential real estate transaction.
